installation of msde

while i am trying to install msde i am getting error that server setup can not completed for more information check server log

how should i solve this problem

While installing Sql server if the setup fails to complete, you need to first view the setup log for any errors and post it........it will be available somewhere in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG for sql 2005 but for msde it should be there in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Setup Bootstrap\LOG i guess .......just search it you'll get as i am not sure about the path
