Installing DSO components

I have problems with redistributing DSO (Decision Support Objects) components. I have excatly followed the instruction summarized under "Redistributuing DSO" in MSDN and have also read redist.txt on SQL Server CD.
I still receive "ActiveX : Can't create object" or in other installations the more cryptic one "DSO: Cann't not connect to repository. Analysis server: .. Error: '' cann't not be found"

The error happends when d.Connect of the Class DSO.Server is called.

Please help, I am completely desperate !

The repository section of redist.txt and the order of registration of the dso dlls might be the problem.
