Is there anyway of installing Reporting Services on a SQL server with SP4
installed. We recieve the error:
"This edition of the Reporting Server Database is not supported on the
edition of SQL Server 2000 you have chosen"
Thanks for any helpYou must have matching editions. For example, if your SQL installation
is 'Standard', you must install a Standard edition of MSRS. If your
SQL installation is 'Enterprise' edition you need to install an
enterprise edition of MSRS.
To determine your version of SQL, open Query Analyzer and execute the
statement 'SELECT @.@.VERSION'
Andy Potter|||Also, make sure that you are not running personal edition. RS does not run
at all on personal edition.
