Im attempting to install SQL Server 2000 Standard on Windows XP Pro and it keeps returning to me an error:
"Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition server component is not supported on this operating system. Only client components will be available for installation."
Anybody have any idea what this means according to the documentation and previous posts on installation problems my operating system should support this edition of SQL server.Since Windows XP Pro is a workstation and not a server, SQL Server 2000 Standard can not be installed on a workstation.
